Pop Couture 'Jean Paul Gaultier' Party at Bliss the Lounge

Jean Paul Gaultier 'Le Male Tout Beau Tout Propre' Party Friday 24th June 9pm onwards (by invitation) 11pm Open to Public Pop Art Remixes Pop Music for Massive Club Comeback! The worlds of pop music and pop art have united for an out-of-the-box clubbing experience at Blissthelounge in twelveSI. Taking inspiration from the progressively creative works of Andy Warhol, JPG, Roy Lichtenstein and Picasso, the new Pop Couture night brings together positively cheeky high art with phenomenally captivating pop tunes! "Every man has the right to look good... Nothing wrong with that.." "Every man has the freedom and the right to acknowledge his own personality. To develop his sensitivity. To be different... to dare to be bold. To end taboos." Gaultier's favorite man in his own words. Last June Gaultier launched his new cosmetics line during the presentation of his men's couture for the summer of 2004, throwing a powder brush at the audience from the catwalk, as a reference to his new "Tout Beau Tout Propre" line. The production is in the deft hands of the Japanese cosmetics giant Shiseido. "Le Male Tout Beau" and "Le Make Tour Propre". Together they form the "Tout Beau Tour Propre" line. Turning the Gaultier man into "All Beautiful and All Clean". Contemporary man now has his own weaponry, with products specially made for him, in virile packaging. 'Cause every man has the right to look his very best. Nothing wrong with that... Pop Couture means to create a perilously compelling night that's always more than the sum of its parts. That's how we're describing the new musical motivation at Blissthelounge. Instead of that throbbing thumpa-thumpa beat, Pop Couture suggests a concept filled with peppermint candy melodies, pink caddy designs and potent concoctions at the bar - Babydoll cocktails anyone? - to refine that pop-meets-club appeal. So if you want to be a pampered creature come Friday night, you just have to ask yourself one question - Are You PC? Posted by Hello
