5 Stories From Miri, Sarawak

We sent our intrepid Editor and Photographer to Miri for 3 days to cover the Borneo Jazz Festival 2012.
Both of them fell in love with Miri and refused to come back.


It was only when we threatened to cut off  the finances did they reluctantly board the plane home.

The Merdeka Award has just opened for application the Merdeka Award Grant for International Attachment.

it's a 3 month all-expenses paid attachment open to all Malaysians, residing in Malaysia or overseas, and aged 22 - 35 years, to undergo an attachment in their chosen field of study. 

It can be for anything but broadly falls into 3 categories - Education |  Environment |  Health, Science & Tech - which is essentially everything.
