This annual event is in aid of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of University Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur. “No Child Shall Knock In Vain” PICU is dedicated to the care of critically ill children from newborns to fourteen years. Each year an average of four hundred children are admitted to the unit with the majority referred by government hospitals. PICU is in dire need of funds to help subsidise the cost of these critically ill children especially those from an economically disadvantaged background and to purchase life saving equipment.
