Effective Media Relations Workshop

Ever wonder why your press release never sees the light of day? Or why your company gets so little media coverage? Two veteran journalists, Anita Devasahayam and Julian Matthews will be conducting a seminar cum workshop to provide companies an insider's view of how news organisations work and how to get the media coverage they want. Co-directors of news writing outfit Trinetizen Media Sdn Bhd, Devasahayam and Matthews have a combined experience of 38 years between them and have contributed to The Star, The New Straits Times, The Edge and various regional and online publications. The workshop is targetted at corporate communications representatives, media relations executives, press liaisons and company spokes persons who want to learn techniques to get better media coverage for their products, services or brands. The workshop is co-organised by event management company CoreVentus Sdn Bhd and priced at RM1,000 per participant. Companies that contribute to the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) are entitled to obtain a training grant, subject to approval.
