Brief Information About P.S. The Children
P.S The Children is a non-profit organization that offers counseling and therapy to victims of child sexual abuse and raises awareness in the community and the government to help prevent it. We go to schools, orphanages and community centres to educate children about sexual abuse before it happens and gives them the courage and knowledge to seek help when needed.
Besides preventive work, our organization believes in the therapeutic treatment of children. We believe that every child deserves an opportunity to heal in order to move on, reach its full potential, and thrive in society.
Therapeutic intervention service for children in Malaysia is still at its infancy stage. P.S. the Children hopes to promote the changes society must make to protect and enhance the quality of children’s lives so that imbued with a deep sense of their own dignity and uniqueness, children who have been sexually abused and exploited can rebuild whole selves and move on from their traumatic experiences.
