The Bario Food Festival (Pesta Nukenen) is a traditional Kelabit food and cultural festival that celebrates Kelabit cuisine and cultural arts and games.
It's the one festival where you can expect all sorts of rare treats, all in one place, over 3 days. Jungle food from grubs to wild meat, edible flowers to bario rice, and games once played everyday, to games reserved only for special ceremonies.
