Sander Apparel Sdn Bhd, principal of Race Track will officially welcome Caterham F1 Team to Malaysia on 21st March at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. To celebrate this occasion, F1 drivers Heikki Kovalainen and Vitaly Petrov will officiate the launch of Caterham F1 merchandise at RaceTrack.
Established in 2009, Caterham F1 Team is the F1 arm of Caterham Group, an automotive, technology and innovation business. The team made its base in Hingham, Norfolk in September 2009 and made its foray into Formula One™ in 2010 under the guidance of Team Principal Tan Sri’ Tony Fernandes, setting about its 2010 season with the goal of winning the battle of the new teams in Formula One™. The team successfully achieved its goal and in 2011 consolidated its standing in the Championship with a 10th place finish and giving itself the perfect platform to head into 2012 and beyond as Caterham F1 Team.
More than just motor racing, Caterham F1 Team merchandise exudes attitude, a lifestyle and sensibility based on quality and integrity with its green and yellow livery that pays homage to the marque’s illustrious heritage and demonstrates that the team is fully aware of its place, standing on the shoulders of motorsports giants.
Starting as a single store in Malaysia in 2011, Race Track is a retail concept selling official F1 & Motorsports merchandise. Brands sold under the umbrella include Ferrari Official Licensed products, Aston Martin Racing, Mini Cooper WRC Team, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, Mercedes AMG Petronas, Mercedes AMG Petronas Michael Schumacher Collections and today, you will find Caterham F1 Team merchandise alongside brands mentioned. Race Track has further developed its concept with other products, including apparel, luggage, accessories, home textiles, toys, bags, stationary and model cars. In addition, Race-Track products are available in retail outlets in Doha, Dubai, Qatar and Singapore.
