Upcoming Concerts: Bond (Cancelled), Blue, Sirocco, Alicia Keys

Bond "Classified" Tour @ Stadium Negara <--- CONCERT CANCELLED 8th October, 8pm Bond are a truly global success. Much of 2003 was taken up touring, particularly throughout Asia. They also fitted in performing and filming a TV commercial for American department store chain Marshall Field's, and made a commercial in Los Angeles for the Japanese karaoke manufacturer Daiichi Kosho. Then there was their movie debut playing themselves in a scene in Rowan Atkinson's James Bond spoof Johnny English for which they also contributed the track "Kismet," composed by Gay-Yee, and played on the Main Theme. Famous for their smash-hits "All Rise", "One Love", "Too Close" and "If You Come Back", London based lads Duncan James, Anthony Costa, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe have gained worldwide popularity since their 2001 debut album, "All Rise". Only a year later, Blue topped charts with their sophomore album, "One Love", which featured Elton John, in their remake of "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest World". This was directly followed by a third album "Guilty", in 2003, which features same-title hit single "Guilty". The band members are Andrew de Teliga, Paul Jarman, Peter Jacob and Martin Tucker. Through their use of instruments as diverse as Turkish drums and the Greek bouzouki, Sirocco creates its unique style combining Celtic, Middle Eastern and South American music with that of Australia's Aboriginal heritage. Proceeds from the evening bottle auctions and cover charge will go in aid of the Malaysian Nature Society Fund.
