Kuala Lumpur Arts Market Part 2

Laman Seni Kuala Lumpur (or Kuala Lumpur Arts Market) returns this month on Saturday, 2nd October 2004! The eagerly awaited market will feature over 100 of our very talented and interesting artists, artisans and craftspeople, along with free musical/dance entertainment, interactive activities, movie screenings, Wayang Kulit, fun, and food! The market will kick off with an exerdance session for all at 8.00am and stalls will start operating at 9.00am. LSKL2 Facts At A Glance What: The second Laman Seni Kuala Lumpur When: Saturday, 2 October 2004 Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Public Entry & Parking: Free! Website: www.artgallery.org.my Artists, craftspeople and other traders from near and far will bring their works, designs and other made-in-Malaysia products, with exhibitors coming from as far away as Tronoh, Perak. Paintings, photography art and other fine artistry of various medium, baskets, textiles, pottery, ceramics, handmade accessories, art-related publications will be featured. A number of booths will offer art by special needs individuals. This time around, visitors who spend RM50.00 or more will be presented with a lucky draw coupon, with attractive prizes awaiting the lucky winners! (One coupon for every RM50.00 purchase in a single receipt.) Expect to see participation from more diverse groups and individuals for enjoyable musical or dance performances that stir the cultural multi-mix of our multi-ethnic audience. Local community organisations or individuals are welcome to participate as performers or strolling musicians in the market on a “one-off” or more frequent basis. Like before, individual tents/booths measuring inclusive of tables, chairs and a fan will be provided. Space rental is just RM30.00 per stall per participation. The car boot sale area meanwhile is available for rental at RM10.00 per lot.
