BMW Malaysian Open 2013

The knockout tournament will see 16 doubles teams and 32 singles players competing for a prize purse of US$235,000 and valuable world ranking points. Underwater Lion Dance

 

This Chinese New Year, be one of the first to witness an underwater lion dance performance in Malaysia. There will also be a scuba Tsai-Shen (Feb 10-24, 12noon & 3pm) appearance during the daily feeding show at the Aquatheatre along with the opportunity to meet the God of Prosperity and Rocky the shark (Feb 10-24, 11am & 4pm). The Underwater lion dance performance happens Feb 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24 at 1pm.

Ice Age @Kiara

Wheels at Publika

If you're on the lookout for a free and open circuit to cycle without traffic obstruction, Publika is now providing that space. Every Sunday, families, youths and residents of all ages can cycle, roller-blade or bring out the scooters and baby prams as they wish. Penang World Music Festival 2013

The 2013 Edition of the Penang World Music Festival (PWMF) will take place from March 30 to 31, and the list of bands performing at the festival is nothing less than impressive. The venue will once again be the Quarry Park at the Penang Botanic Gardens. It is a tranquil and nature-inspired setting to showcase the diverse range of musicians that will be making Penang home in the last week of March this year.

A total of 12 bands will be featured at the festival during the two days. Among them are Mu from Portugal, Kimi Djabate (Guinea- Bissau), Nasout (Iran), Alp Bora Quartet (Turkey), Saharadja (Indonesia), Inka Marka (South America), Kalayo (Philippines) and Malaysian bands.

This is not your typical Japanese restaurant as the décor is indicative of the Doraku philosophy. The Zen-like setting conveys a minimalist Japanese feel, with dining tables discretely separated by the use of wood and trees.
