The inaugural Kuala Lumpur Music and
Light Festival 2012 will be held from June 4-8, from 8.30pm to 10.30pm, at the
Esplanade, Suria KLCC, in conjunction with the 25th World Gas Conference (WGC
2012), an event which concerns the betterment and development of the gas
industry worldwide. Over 3,500 delegates from 70 countries will attend the
triennial event.
It will showcase Malaysia’s largest
light installation, dancing fountains, water screen, pyrotechnics and
multimedia laser displays.
Themed “World Peace, World Harmony,
World Unity”, the festival will bring together international and local
musicians including Akasha, Suhu, Aubrey Suwito, Andy Perterson, Arinder Raina,
Albert Sirimal and Friends, Tuku Kame, Agong Beat, Aseana Percussion Unit,
Elevan Fela Orchestra, Martin Zamigamo (Hong Kong), Saharadja (Indonesia),
Hanggai (China) and Noreum Maci (South Korea).
