The Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) will be held 7-9 July this year at the Sarawak Cultural Village at Santubong, a 40 minutes’ drive away from the city of Kuching on the island of Borneo
This year marks the 9th edition of the festival which has been gaining in popularity with world music lovers globally. The question is Will You Be There?
SmoovePinch had an opportunity to attend this event under the invitation of the Sarawak Tourism Board. We dare say it was the best event we saw in 2005. Imagine dancing under the stars and rainforest amongst 10,000 people from around the world. Amazing!!
The groups confirmed (so far) performing at this year’s festival are:
Tengir Too from Kargystan
Kilema from Madagascar Les Yeux Noirs from France
Hotel Palindrone from Austria
Egschiglen from Mongolia
ChungMyung from Korea
