KSFM (kelab seni filem malaysia) once again invites you to submit your short films for screening at the highly successful MALAYSIAN SHORTS editions, held at HELP institute, kl. the next screening is early august! Co-curated by Amir Muhammad and James Lee, they are looking for: - experimental videos, short films, animation, student music videos, etc . . . made by malaysians or made in malaysia. - preferably under 20mins - work that has never been screened and/or filmmakers whose work we have not screened before particularly encouraged. apart from being a screening and discussion platform, every compilation is subsequently sent to other festivals, curators, etc. For example, 9 malaysian shorts will be screened at the 27th asian american international film fest in new york this july. 8 of which were sent by ksfm, including 'wanita kosmos' by diffan sina, 'free' by idora alhabshi, 'raaga mood' by sylvia ong & '1979' by albert hue.
