Tsunami Disaster Fund

Dear Friends, It was indeed a sad day for mankind where more than 150 thousands people lost their lives and millions lost their homes. I appeal to you, kind and generous citizens of the world to contribute to the "Tsunami Disaster Fund". Those who wish to donate can send cheques payable to the "News Straits Times Press Berhad" with the NST-BH Malaysian Tsunami Disaster Fund written on the reverse side and addressed to 31 Jalan Riong, 59100 Kuala Lumpur. As a word of caution, in the heat of the moment, there could be some unscrupulous few who may take advantage of the situation. If you are feeling generous and sincere about helping, please do it through the more established channels, like Mercy or the Red Cross, that genuinely are about helping and seeing your touching contributions reach those who are really affected and in need.
